We want to make it clear that our goal is not to infringe upon any copyrights. If any individual or organization believes they have legal rights to any Bible version featured here, we encourage them to present credible evidence of ownership. All such claims will be carefully reviewed by our legal team before any action is taken.

Historically, many of the Bible versions now being claimed as proprietary were translated by missionaries who dedicated their lives to serving Christ, often funded by charitable donations rather than commercial enterprises. It is unfortunate that in some cases today, certain entities seek to control or monetize these translations, an act we cannot support. Any effort to privatize ancient Bible texts solely for profit contradicts the very spirit of the Scriptures.

As translators and narrators ourselves, we have never claimed rights over the materials we’ve helped produce. Just as a translator does not own the rights to a book they translate for an author, we do not claim ownership of translated Bible texts. The original authors or public domain status remain in effect. This is the case with most translated literary works around the world.

Furthermore, international copyright law recognizes that translations of public domain texts—such as the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts from which the Bible is derived—should likewise remain in the public domain. We hold that the Bible is not just literature, but the divine foundation of the Christian faith. Therefore, any claim to restrict its free distribution should be carefully scrutinized.

When publishers or Bible Societies attempt to limit access to the Bible in the name of preserving its integrity, they may inadvertently encourage fragmentation and the rise of unauthorized versions. Instead of offering trusted reference translations, such restrictions often lead to inconsistency and confusion. The King James Version of the Bible is a strong example of a public domain text that has remained respected and unchanged for centuries.

Studies have shown that free access to the Bible online increases not only Scripture engagement but also the demand for physical Bibles and related resources. While our mission is not commercial, we recognize that by sharing the Bible freely, we are indirectly supporting the work of Bible publishers and distributors—without receiving any personal or financial gain.

Many of the languages offered on our platform were added following user requests. People—both Christian and non-Christian—from around the world have contacted us asking that their native languages be included. Some expressed concern that their culture was being neglected due to the lack of Bible texts in their language. Such requests have been particularly common in regions like Africa, where printed Bibles are costly and less accessible, and where digital access remains limited.
